Jenny Mizutowicz

Jenny Mizutowicz serves as Director of Economic Development at The University of Texas at Dallas, where she leads initiatives that strengthen the university's role as a catalyst for economic growth, innovation, and talent development across North Texas.
With nearly two decades of experience in economic development and regional marketing, Jenny's career has focused on advancing collaboration among higher education, industry, and community partners. Prior to her current role at UT Dallas, she served as Manager of Economic Development Initiatives from 2019 to 2022. Her previous experience includes serving as Economic Development Director for the City of Richardson, Economic Development Manager for the City of Carrollton, and Director of Marketing for the Richardson Economic Development Partnership.
Jenny holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts in Emerging Media and Communication from UT Dallas. She is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) and has held numerous leadership positions within the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), including Chair of both the Young Professionals Advisory Committee and the Education and Certification Advisory Committee.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the North Central Texas Economic Development District (NCTEDD) and previously served on the University Economic Development Association (UEDA) Board of Directors from 2021 to 2025. In 2023, she was recognized in D CEO's Dallas 500, an annual list of the region's most influential business leaders.
Jenny enjoys reading, traveling with her husband, Cameron, and daughter, Wren, and watching Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys football.
