Description
Explore how you can make a real impact in disaster response by joining us to learn about the North Texas VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) program and how to become a volunteer. VOADs bring together organizations that collaborate to lessen the impact of disasters by providing essential services to communities in need.
When disasters occur, there’s often an urgent need for volunteers with specialized skills—many of which our building engineers and vendors already have. During these times, the City of Dallas Emergency Management office will reach out to registered volunteers to support restoration efforts.
By becoming a VOAD volunteer, you'll not only be giving back to the community but also enhancing your BOMA TOBY applications by showcasing your involvement in critical recovery efforts.
This event is open to Property Managers, Engineers, and vendors—all of whom can play an essential role in disaster recovery. Don't miss this opportunity to learn, contribute, and connect!
